You Can Study Engineering With Your Grade 9 Certificate At False Bay TVET College



The education and learning landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is for the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school design is not the only effective means of studying. Their NCV programmes are intended for college students who want to begin their journey toward a satisfying job early on.

CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Section for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, regarding their courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are presented at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These classes start out at NCV level 2 along with the minimal requirement would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

At the time the student finishes NCVLevel two, they would then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level three would be grade 11 and NCV Level four is grade 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, staying comparable to a Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF read more level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage two that is equivalent to an NQF level two.
